seasonal pattern weights


i'm blowing your mind right now.  i know.

  1. Yes! I bought two small decorative pumpkins for my grandma's house and I guess she doesn't like them because she keeps asking what we are going to do with them. Now I guess I should tell her they're pattern weights! Genius.

  2. Two weeks if you dont carve them! After that potatoes and red beets! Cabbage works well with white and slippery fabrics!

  6. heheee.. that's a good idea.. i use combination of remotes and books.. send some sewing mojo over here, to unglue me from spaghetti westerns and reconnect me with lovely dress-wannabee-fabric

  7. How fun! And I just adore that fabric. I'm always terribly jealous of your amazing ability to pick/combine/wear prints and of the fact that you live in NYC and can go fabric shopping at places ridiculously more awesome than Jo-Anns.

  9. I'm way ahead of you. I use CANNED pumpkin for my pattern weights. Not as cute but longer shelf life.
